LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course, students will:

  • Have an understanding of planning and the benefits of irrigation systems

  • Know and have an awareness of irrigation products

  • Understand the different irrigation systems and their design considerations

  • Understand how to install, tap Based & tank/pump systems alongside drip pipe, border sprinklers, pot drippers, and pop-up irrigation

  • Fully understand timer controls from battery operated to internet controlled

  • Be competent with Pipework and fittings, LDPE & MDPE

  • How to install, tap Based & tank/pump systems alongside drip pipe, border sprinklers, pot drippers, and pop-up irrigation

Classroom plus outdoor practical, ongoing engagement after the 1 day course.

  • Lunch is not included, we recommend you bring your own packed lunch for each day

  • There is currently no accommodation available at Lower End Farm for TASK students. There are plenty of local accommodation possibilities, please contact us for a range of options.

  • Participants are required to have a minimum level 2 in English and Maths.
